For the 2006-2007 fashion year, SIIM introduces a new highlight - the thirteen month fashion calendar.
The concept is
a full-colour 13 month desktop calendar running
from November 2006 to November 2007 featuring 13 must-have styles (dresses,
pants, blouses, skirts, bathing suits, handbags and t-shirts) - a
different style for each month.
The calendar
itself is for distribution, free with purchase of Siim products and it will
function in tandem with the website: While purchasers of Siim calendar pieces
will have the full 13 months of the calendar, interested persons can download
the calendar in three month blocks as desktop wallpaper from the website. As
an added layer, the select stores which will be carrying these items will be
featured on the site.
The key to
this line of products is that these are all one-of-a-kind items. That is, the
cut is consistent for each month but every single item is actually different
(different colour, trim, etc.) and hand finished. Each month
there will be only 30 of each style and the style groupings are being
positioned to be stocked quarterly in mutually complimentary three-style
packages.
