ADVERTSING AND PROMOTION
Our advertising and promotions will pivot around five key strategies: public relations, fashion shows, an Internet Web site, customer relations, press advertising.
1. Internet Web site:
This is the most convenient way for us to have a global presence at the outset.
2. Public Relations:
This will be our major promotional channel. We will continue to put considerable effort into preparing and disseminating a regular flow of press releases as it is essential to remain in the Public eye. Magazines such as Skywritings and Caribbean Beat, as well as TVJ, Music Plus and RETV have feaured Siim and we maintain very close links with them. We are also seeking to make contact with magazines such as Conde Nast’s Traveler, and Islands Magazine among others. Also we have a CDROM to be released in April 2004 which we hope to use as a digital brochure to generate interest among foreign press, buyers etc.
3. Fashion Shows:
Continuing along Siim’s initial path we will produce shows with a dramatic flair, using models carefully chosen to show the clothes to their best advantage. These shows will be our primary focus in the Local Market.
4. Customer relations:
We will initially seek a few select individual clients for whom to produce original couture clothing, taking in new clients only by referral, while trying to establish a rapport with the buyers in select, high profile Department Stores and Boutiques.
5. Press advertising:
We will undertake a small amount of press advertising in order to enhance our public relations activity. |
